Floyd Mayweather Without a Trainer

Rumor is that Manny Pacquiao has agreed to the demands of Floyd Mayweather regarding the random drug testing and is declaring that the ball is in Floyd’s court as to whether the fight will take place on November 13th or not. Its funny how Manny Pacquiao is now willing to fight after Floyd Mayweather Jr. officially announced taking a break from boxing and not only that but when uncle/trainer Roger Mayweather might possibly be behind bars.

Roger Mayweather is scheduled for trial next month, August, for allegations that he assaulted and choked Melissa St. Vil., female boxer he used to train. This is not the first time Roger has been charged with such accusations, Roger has other criminal charges and because of that he might get some jail time if convicted.

I won’t blame Floyd Mayweather Jr. if he passes on the fight if his uncle is not in the corner. I am sure Manny Pacquiao will not take on a fight if Freddie Roach wasn’t at his side.

But Las Vegas is already preparing in case the fight does take place. Room rates at the MGM Grand Resort, as well as nearby properties, have been increased for the weekend of November 13th in anticipation of Pacquiao-Mayweather being finalized.

I could only image how over priced Las Vegas will be if Pacquiao-Mayweather does take place, I will rather hire a Vancouver escort with that money and have a night to remember.

If these two guys won’t fight in November, I will insist for the fight to happen in May of 2011. I would rather wait than to see Pacquiao fight Miguel Cotto again. I will settle for a Marquez trilogy but before I get too far ahead of myself, I guess we will have to wait and see if Roger is sentenced or not.
