Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr.: Antonio Margarito for Pac-Man?

It looks like Manny Pacquiao grew tired of Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s never-ending negotiations because the 31-year-old WBO welterweight champ has apparently decided to fight Antonio Margarito.

“I’ll probably fight him [Margarito] at 150-147 pounds,” said Pacquiao, according to BoxingNews24.com.

Probably might be an understatement. Mexico has already been selected as the country to host the fight on November 13th.

“I’m excited to fight in Mexico,” said Pacquiao, according to BoxingNews24.com. “It will be the first time I’d fight there.”

Bob Arum, Pacquiao’s promoter, is expected to fly to Monterrey, Mexico where the fight will most likely take place.

Margarito is known for being a relentless fighter with incredible heart. His most notable win was his come from behind victory over Miguel Cotto. Magarito also has notable victories against Kermit Cintron and Joshua Clottey.

Now Margarito will be hoping to have the same type of success against Pacquiao.
